Take the A Train

This is the first piano jazz arrangement I introduced to a classically trained student. He was 14 years old when we worked on this and fell in love with the form. We still work on classical music, technic and theory but the jazz arrangement we work on round out our weekly hour long sessions. Eventually on to Rhapsody in Blue!
