When Simon & Garfunkel released this album, it won a Grammy award (on the strength of this classic song); at their acceptance speech, Paul Simon said he wanted to thank Stevie Wonder for having an "off" year (Wonder had won the award the previous two years). This is a wonderful classic blues/gospel song, full of beautiful melodies and chords and great lyrics, as well (for those blessed with a high range voice to be able to sing all the high notes in this song). This song has very wide appeal and is wealth worth learning to play well.

I am playing this score with my violin partner and I can tell you: it sounds wonderful! It is very tight to the original and it allows enough freedom to the musicians. We prefer not to stick strictly to the piano melody line living some parts to the violin while taking good care of harmony in the piano. Great arrangement!

This is a beautiful song. It isnt easy to learn but is certainly worth the effort. I have played it along with the recorded version on u tube and have lots of fun with it.

Good arrangement, fun to play, challenging but not too difficult to learn for an intermediate player. Differs a little from original recording, but accurate enough, though it somewhat lacks the build up that the original has.
