Make sure you listen to the Glee version!

This doe snot follow the same chord structure as the Adele version. It modulates into a major gospel arrangement of the original. Go to youtube and listen to the Glee version before buying. Its not anything like the Adele version and I wasted my money.

Easy, for 6 singers

You cant see it from the front page, but this is arrangement actually uses 6 different singers at one point! One female soloist, one male soloist, and then soprano + alto (2 of them) + baritone. So yes, technically the range is just Soprano, Alto, Baritone... but no, its not written for a 3-person group. (Hi MusicNotes, PLEASE PLEASE add in how many total individual voices an arrangement is written for! That would be so helpful to know when it is different from what the arrangement says!) It is very easy to learn and teach, and I definitely recommend it for beginner a cappella groups. An intermediate or advanced group can pick it up in one session (not kidding). If you actually only have 3 people to sing it becomes trickier, because on the chorus it should be 2 soloists singing ...We could have had it aaaaaaaall! with the 3 soprano/alto/bari singers following ...Now youre gonna wish you... in a nice chord, but with only 1 person on the SAB 3 parts it sounded really pretty sad. We tried it several ways and couldnt make it work with three. Instead, we modified it to add a third harmony to the chorus. So when the male solo is singing We (D#) could (F#) have (D#) had (F#) it (D#) aaaaaalllll (F#, G#, F#, D#) the 3rd harmony sings right underneath: We (B) could (C#) have (B) had (C#) it (B) aaaaaalllll (C#, D#, C#, B). Simple. I think we will use this with new people who show up and want to sing -- teach one of the harmonies and see how they handle it, how they blend. Overall, I recommend this. Pretty simple to bang out on a piano and learn the parts. A few tricky parts with timing between two singers, but once you get it, youll find the notes and timing repeat a lot. It definitely lets the solo singers add in their own style.
