Played this on Keyboard twice. First time in Fake style by playing the guitar melody w/right hand, and simply pressing and holding the designated chord down w/left hand. Sounded Great! A year later I played the entire piece with both hands on piano. Sounds good either way, so if you are new to playing, you can still sound good.
