Great Arrangement That Lives Up To The Original
Francesco Parrino has outdone himself with this arrangement of Dont Stop Me Now by Freddie Mercury. Its challenging without being overly complicated and in a key that makes some of the more difficult maneuvers quite reasonable for amateurs willing to put in a little practice. It has a full sound and a great driving rhythm that makes you want to throw your whole body into playing it. I deducted 0.5 on the arrangement quality because there are a few dissonant notes here that Ive had to change to get the sound I want; Im sure those are intentional jazz reharmonizations but they just didnt work for me. Your milegage may vary on those though. Still, one of the very best solo arrangements of a pop/rock song that Ive ever played. Grazie, Francesco!
