This is one of the most famous and beautiful works of Dimitri Shostakovich. Shostakovich is regarded as one of the major composers of the 20th century.

Some parts are written in a strange way such as not having the left hand in treble clef where it is needed in some parts. Plus, its not the full score which it didnt mention in the description! It only goes up to bar 89 out of 104 bars! I wouldnt recommend.

Consider very carefully before you buy this arrangement: Bars 31 to 37 are presented so that just reading the score is very difficult, tedious and frustrating. It should use 8va and show all the notes an octave lower. It just seems so thoughtless or is the composer/arranger just being awkward for the sake of it? Who wants to try and play part of a piece with so many leger lines? The page in question, Page 2, could not be accessed before purchase.
