This an unusual song. I would suggest listening to one of Harry Chapins recordings of it first so you know what youre getting. It varies in tempo quite a bit and has sad, dark lyrics presented in a very jovial, campy, humorously-musical way. That being said, this piano arrangment is a pretty good translation of Chapins performance of this song - which were known for varying endings and profuse ad-libbing.
