99
One of David Paichs compositions; "99" is a song by the American rock band Toto. The song appeared on the Hydra album in 1979. When released as a single, it reached number 26 on the Billboard charts. The song was written as a tribute to George Lucas (Star Wars movies producer) film THX 1138 and the music video resembles a scene in the movie. Paich wrote several songs for Boz Scaggs and the rock group Toto (probably best known for the song "Africa"). Keyboardist David Paich, son of musician and session player/arranger Marty Paich, rose to fame after having co-written much of Scaggs Silk Degrees album.

Hard out
Good song.....would be better if the intense intro was backed up by fuller sounding verses

ToTo
This arrangement is lacking something. It does not sound anything like Totos performance back in the day. I dont believe that just a piano/keyboard is enough to support the piece.
