Op. 9-1, is a nocturne for piano composed by Frédéric Chopin in 1831 and published the following year, 1832. He was using a Pleyel piano at the time, and the piece was dedicated to Berlioz's former fiancée, Camille Pleyel, president of the Pleyel piano manufacturing company.
