Simply Wonderful
12/26/2015 4:51:27 PMI still practise this medley. Im a pianist with advanced skills and I actually have some experience with his Virtuosic Piano Soli pieces. Page 1 and 2 are most difficult and it honestly took me some time to play it well so that Im satisfied with it. The overall lyrical atmosphere of this song is somewhere between maestoso/powerfull and darkly/mystically. Further, you can show your highly expressive musical skills and have a nice performance. LOTR contents of many many "between notes" that fills the melody in the less important parts. You might could say its an orchestra written for piano. A must have for all fantasy fans. It is probably the hardest and at the same time most incredible arrangement for piano that exist. Pure nostalgia :)

Lord Of the Rings
6/27/2016 2:56:28 PMExcellent arrangement. Some of the time signatures are quite strange, for example: 1 1.5 1 --- + --- + --- 4 4 4 Also at some points the piano uses three staves! ALL IN BASE CLEF!!!! It is the most virtuosic, amazing lord of the rings arrangement ever!!!!
