A student of mine has searching for this song for ages under the title of Climbing Uphill, so anyone looking for this song will find it here ! Great character song with a large emotional range. Great for anyone looking for an unusual musical theatre song that really shows off both singing and acting skills.

A very useable arrangement of a very tricky piece, great for vocal auditions for advanced Musical Theatre ladies.

Wonderful Overall

If you are expecting what is heard on the recording, you get a bit more than you bargained for, as the sheet music includes a longer cut of "When You Come Home to Me" at the start of the piece. You can, of course, cut it to suit your needs, as I did for my cabaret. Aside from that slight hiccup, the arrangement is remarkably similar to what one hears on the recording, which fit what I was looking for.

Great audition piece

This is a nice song in which you can show off singing ability as well as acting potential, especially in relation to comedy. I do recommend it for experienced singers as its sometimes, particularly in the beginning, hard to follow the accomepaniment (which is supposed to be like that, btw, not an error of arrangement). Fast words are replaced by an opportunity to belt. Only the ending is a little weird, because in the show it segways right into the next song, but that makes it a little tricky to do on its own. Other than that, though, really enjoyable song, fun to sing and funny for the audience!
