Confusing melody line
7/10/2010 12:53:03 PMThis piece was obviously written to address the song to be sung as a duet, but in doing so it creates (to me) confusion in its arrangement. It would (again, to me) be better served having the whole melody line kept in the treble than jumping down and having it played down among the bass and taking away from what could be enriching it if it were kept in the treble melody. But, hey, that is just my opinion. It just didnt sound right to me playing in my living room. It may sound entirely different in other circumstances.

There is no link when you say "here is a solo version and not the duet?" What are you referring to?
This song was indeed first published as a duet...and until now, I had no luck finding an arrangement for a solo singer--but does it keep the combination of English and Italian lyrics, I am wondering?
