Speed of Sound
11/7/2007 11:01:38 AMColdplay's first single from the multi-platinum album X & Y fares well in this piano/guitar/vocal arrangement. The transcription is straightforward and inconspicuous, without much in the way of embellishments. Beginner and Intermediate pianists should be able to pick up the melody easily, and advanced musicians will inevitably add their own touch. Speed of Sound is not X & Y's best song (it was stopped at #2 on the U.K. charts) but that can't be held against Musicnotes- this is a fine (albeit plain) arrangement.
