Christmas from a child's point of view11/21/2007 9:54:31 AMThis lovely piece from The Polar Express is a joy to perform. It is child-like without taking on a sing-song tone. While the music appears simple, there is much in the rhythm and intervals to keep the interest of children and adults alike. The lyrics and melody work very well together, and always touch the hearts of both performers and their audiences.

When Christmas Comes To Town12/17/2009 5:41:40 AMI had just watched Polar Express again and was struck by how much I liked this song. The best of the movie I thought. After searching online I came across this site and decided to purchase. Great idea. The music was purchased and downloaded with no problems whatsoever. I found the arrangement pretty much exactly what I heard from the movie. It is relatively easy, although to get it to flow correctly I am still working on it. I havent played with accidentals for awhile so they tripped me up a bit. I am very happy with my purchase as well as how painless this process was. My first sheet music purchase outside a physical store.

When Christmas Comes to Town9/29/2012 1:25:06 PMI am a 2nd grade teacher with very limited talent playing any musical instrument. Musicnotes.com is extremely useful to me. When I am teaching the students a song I play the music for them and so they can hear how it goes. With musicnotes.com I can show the song on the projector and they not only hear the music but they can see what they exactly what words to sing and when. I use it as “Follow the bouncing ball”. Last year for our Christmas program, we choose to sing “When Christmas Comes to Town” from the “Polar Express” collection. The girls and the boys sang separate parts. Being able to see what to sing and when really helped to learn it quickly and accurately.

When Christmas Comes to Town3/25/2013 7:35:42 PMI used this as accompaniment at my winter concert this year. I sang the vocals while playing the piano. I performed it as a solo. It was such a great concert.
