Sonya Belousovas Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy10/19/2016 5:49:45 PMThis is virtuosity for no ones sake! This really is an arrangement for mechanical reproduction, not a performance by a flesh and blood live pianist. WHY? The Tchaikovsky music is beloved, and meant to be savoured. Yes there are to be difficult harp like passages, but those are meant for flavour, not to wow an audience with digital athleticism. I am very disappointed by this. However, its Belousovas fault.

Best version so far!2/15/2017 12:33:12 PMI like it very much, because it comes close to Tchaikovskys original, but is also pushed a little up (esp. the end) to make it sound more interesting and emphasize and highlight the pianists skills. On the whole, it differs not much. Try if youre an advanced or at least good intermediate player. BUT ATTENTION: Unfortunately, there are a few notation mistakes, but you will probably hear and see them. You can compare and correct by watching Sonyas performance on youtube.
